Where ever you go, there you are
You can't run away from your problems. The old saying that "Where ever you go, there you are." is so true.
A lot of people watch YouTube videos about people living in an RV, and they dream about living the RVing lifestyle.
I'm glad they do. I make my living by selling books to people who dream of selling everything and then traveling and living in an RV.
That's what I did, and I love the lifestyle, but you have to realize that you can't run away from your problems.
You have to realize that you, your life, and your problems are all sitting in a box in the passenger seat right beside you when you hit the road. They go where ever you go.
There are some big advantages when you go somewhere new (whether it's a different town or a different campground). You can tell people what you want them to know about you and leave out the things you don't want them to know.
Even though you don't tell the new people you meet everything about your life, all of the things that have happened in your life and all the things you've done are still part of your life. They traveled right along with you.
Living and traveling in an RV or van can be a wonderful life, and it can be a lot less expensive than living the traditional lifestyle, but there are no guarantees. How happy you'll live in an RV and how expensive or inexpensive it will depend on you.
Bottom line: If you don't change anything about yourself and the way you live, how happy you'll be and how much it will cost you to live will be about the same living in an RV or van will be about the same as it is now.
