My latest book
My new book is FREE for 3 days
The eBook version of my new book, Book Marketing Magic, is free on Amazon for the next three days—Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
I wanted to know what was known about how to market a nonfiction book. So I read almost every book and watched every YouTube video there was about how to market a nonfiction book on Amazon.
I wanted to know what the so-called experts knew (or claimed to know). I took that knowledge and added to it what I had learned from marketing my 27 books over the last 15 years, and then I wrote this book.
I cut out all of the fluff, BS, and the techniques gurus were pushing that I knew didn't work. I also omitted any marketing techniques that cost money.
Contrary to conventional wisdom, advertising doesn't work for selling nonfiction books. It will help you sell more books, but running ads to sell nonfiction books won't help you make money.
These are just some of the many facts I included in this new book.
The eBook is free for the next three days, and if you prefer reading a print version, it's only $5.00 for the next few days. (Amazon won't let you offer a printed book for free.)
How to Rank #1 in New Releases
As you can see in the two screenshots below, Amazon ranked both the eBook and the print versions of the book #1 in their category in New Releases. This helps sales a lot.
If you want to know how I got both the eBook and the print version to rank #1 in New Releases on Amazon within two days after it was published, I describe how I made it happen in Chapter 8 of the book.
Why would anyone offer a book for free?
The reason for offering a book for free is to get reviews, so if you download the free book, I would really appreciate it if you would post an honest review on Amazon.
When you "buy" the book for $0.00, Amazon counts that as a purchase and shows the review as being based on a verified purchase.
Amazon values reviews from people who have bought the book (even when they bought it for zero dollars) a lot more than they value reviews from someone who didn't purchase the book.
Bottom line: Even if you don't plan to market a book right now, I think you'll enjoy this book. And I would be eternally grateful (or at least, I would be grateful for a long, long time) if you would "buy" the book while it is priced at $0.00 and then post a review on Amazon. You don't have to read the whole book. Scan the Introduction chapter, and then post your review. Your review could be just one or two sentences.
