I'm back in the USA

After five months in Costa Rica, I'm back in the North Carolina mountains.

I'm camped next to a river looking up at Grandfather Mountain. I love the sound of the river at night.

My trip driving the motorhome from Florida to the North Carolina mountains was uneventful. I had a few problems getting started, which could be expected when you leave a motorhome sitting for five months. My coach battery was dead and wouldn't take a charge. I bought the battery from Walmart two years ago, and it had a four-year warranty, so they gave me a new battery at no charge.

I didn't get a new four-year warranty. My warranty is only for the two years that are left on the original warranty. That's fair enough.

None of the RV tires had lost any air, but I had to pump up the two tires on the dolly. They had dropped from 80 psi down to 60.

Update on my latest book

When I got back to the US, I was able to see a printed copy of my book and read it. I always find errors when I read the print version that I didn't find reading the book on a computer screen. I have made the corrections and resubmitted the eBook and print versions to Amazon.

The book has not received as many reviews as I would like yet, but it is ranked #1 in New Release in its category. Below is a screenshot showing its ranking on Amazon.

I&##x27;m back in the USA

I think the main reason the book has not received many reviews yet is that even though it's about a topic that a lot of people, in general, are interested in, it's not about a topic that many of the people I know are interested in.

During the three days, I had the book priced at zero dollars on Amazon, over 1,200 people downloaded the book, but not many of them have posted a review yet.

Bottom line: It's nice to be settled into my campsite. Now, I can get started hiking to waterfalls. I'll be here until mid-Oct. when it starts to get cold. That's when I'll head to Florida.

P.S. The one thing I couldn't find to eat in Costa Rica was some good BBQ. They had food they called BBQ, but it wasn't the good NC, TN, GA, or TX-style BBQ.
