Beautiful fall colors in Florida?
This past Mondy morning, I pulled out of the campground in the North Carolina mountains with my car on the dolly behind my motorhome, and off to Florida I went.
I spent one night in a Cracker Barrel parking lot in Georgia on the way.
As you can see in the picture at the top of the page that I took of Triple Falls while I was hiking on Saturday before I left, there were a lot of beautiful fall colors in the mountains.
Fall in Florida has nice color changes, too, with all the new license plates showing up.
My trip to Florida was more or less uneventful, but I sometimes think no RV trip is totally uneventful regardless of how much you plan and prepare for it. I checked everything before I left. I even opened the outside cover of the refrigerator. I don't know what I was looking for, but everything looked normal.
When I arrived in Florida, I noticed that the one-foot square cover was missing. Obviously, I didn't turn the fasteners properly when I closed it. Oh well, for a little less than $100, I can order one from Amazon.
Good things happen while traveling also. While I was on the road, the guy doing the narration to turn my latest book, You Only Get Old Once, into an audiobook finished the project.
ACX always takes ten business days to approve an audiobook, so in two weeks, the audiobook version will be available. And, of course, I'll have some Promo Codes available, so you can get the audiobook free. They won't be available next Saturday, but they will be the following Saturday.
