My campsite in Florida for the next month
Two days on the road and the world changes
After two weeks, I now have electricity, water, and Internet service.
I drove south for two days from the storm disaster in the North Carolina mountains to a part of Florida where Hurricane Milton didn't demolish.
It snowed the day after I left.
Here's a picture of what I left
In two months, I'll be in Costa Rica. They've never had a hurricane, and they don't get snow.
The trip was uneventful, and when traveling in an RV, sometimes that's all you can hope for.
I usually stay in Cedar Key, FL, but they got hammered, so I'm about 25 miles inland in Chiefland at Strawberry Fields campground. It's a new campground that has almost 500 campsites.
A reminder: If you downloaded my new book last week and haven't had a chance to post a review, now would be a great time to do it. I know you're super busy, and posting a book review is not at the top of your to-do list, but if you do post a review, it would sure make me one happy camper.
