Your life 5 years from now?

What will your life be like 5 years from now?

Of course, no one knows what the future holds, but what do you expect it to be like, or what do you hope it will be like?

Do you have plans to make changes in your life? Are you going to change jobs? Maybe you're thinking about retiring, starting a business, or moving somewhere different.

Or perhaps you're planning to continue doing exactly what you're doing now. There's nothing that says you have to change anything.

If you keep the same job and live in the same place, you probably do know what your life will be like five years from now, or at least, you have a pretty good idea.

For many people, that's exactly what they want.

For other people, the idea of doing the same thing and living the same life for the next five years scares them. There's no right or wrong answer. It just depends on what you want in your life.

What if?

Do you ever feel you're doing everything right, but are still not happy with your life?

Maybe if you had some pixie dust to sprinkle on your life, you could get the magic to start, and things in your life would be better.

As one old man said, "I was told to cheer up. Things could be worse, so I cheered up, and sure enough, things got worse."

There's no guarantee that if you make changes in your life it will be better, but there's a good chance that if you don't change something, your life will be the same five years from now as it is now. Maybe that's a good thing. It all depends on what you want.

Perhaps you've heard the saying, "Cheer up. Things could be worse." So I cheered up and sure enough, things got worse.

P.S. The audiobook version of my latest book, How to Have Fun Negotiating, is finally live. If you would like a complimentary copy of the audiobook, send me an email at [email protected] with the word audiobook in the subject line, and I'll send you an Amazon promo code to download a free copy.
