RVers can live in a foreign country

Would you be happy living in a foreign country?

The truthful answer is that you probably don't know. You haven't tried it, and you haven't done much research on the idea.

There are several countries where you can live for about half of what it costs to live in the US.

But the cost of living is not the only thing you will want to consider when you think about living outside the US.

If you want to seriously consider the pros and cons of living abroad, and how to go about doing it, I would highly recommend looking at a recent book by Kristin Wislson called Moving Abroad for Dummies.

Check it out at the link below:

If you're contemplating pulling the trigger and moving out of the country for a short time or for good, you'll find the answers to most, if not all, of your questions in this book.

Whether you want to move so you can retire more comfortably on savings or your Social Security income, are looking for adventure, or want to find a culture that's a better fit for you, you'll find the information in this book to help you decide.

If you are living in an RV, the decision is even easier

If you're living full-time in an RV, you could easily try living in a foreign country.

That's what I did. Every year for several years, I would park my motorhome on a friend's farm (at no cost to me), go to Costa Rica for three to six months during the winter months, and then go back to the US and start living my RVing lifestyle again.

The best part of this routine was getting to experience living in a foreign country while incurring absolutely zero expenses in the US. I was actually saving money.

I was renting a nice house or apartment in Costa Rica for way less than I would pay to rent a campsite back in the US. It was a great way to experience living in a foreign country for less than I was spending to live in the US.

You don't want to be sitting in a rocking chair on the front porch of a nursing home saying, "I thought about living in a foreign country, but I never got around to checking into it."

Bottom line: If you've ever thought you might like to live in a foreign country, it's now easy to do your research, decide where you would like to live, and try it. You might find that it's just the lifestyle for you. There are also lots of YouTube videos about living in different countries.

P.S. If Costa Rica is a country you're considering, you'll find useful information in my book, "How to Live a Laptop Life in Costa Rica". You can find it at the link below:
