She's thinking about where she wants to go.
When traveling, where you can go is limited
It's true, you can't go just anywhere.
You have restrictions. When you're traveling, there are rules that you have to follow. There are limitations on where you can go. I'll get back to your travel restrictions, but first . . .
You also need to stick to a routine
Whether or not you're traveling, it's important to stick to a routine. Here are a few things that experts say are important:
- Get eight hours of sleep.
- Follow a routine every morning—have a cup of coffee, tea, or a smoothie, get 30 minutes of exercise, do some stretching, drink a large glass of water, spend some time outside (in the sunshine, if possible). You don't have to do all these things, but set a routine that works for you and do the same thing every morning, regardless of where you are.
- One other routine I follow is that I make my bed the first thing every morning. There's very little chance that anyone will come to my house to visit, but I make my bed every morning, anyway. It's part of my routine.
When you follow a routine every morning, it resets your brain and tells it you're ready to start a new day.
Back to your travel limitations
When you're traveling, you can't see everything or do everything. If you try to, you'll burn out in a hurry.
You have a lot of freedom when you're traveling, but you can't just roam anywhere you want.
Here's your one major travel restriction
Keep this in mind when making your travel plans—you absolutely have to stay on this planet. Other than that, you're free to roam.
When you're making travel plans, here's one of the places you can't go.
Bottom line: Travel is important to your well-being, but having a morning routine and sticking with it is also important whether or not you're traveling. The human body functions much better when you stick to a routine.
