What a year this has been.

I don't make New Year's Resolutions, but if I had written some down last year, they wouldn't have included any of the changes I've made this past year.

Sometimes, things happen that are out of our control, but this year, one big thing happened that was totally within my control.

I sold everything and moved to Costa Rica.

It's a new location-independent life, and I'm looking forward to it.

Here are some of the things I like most about living here and this lifestyle:

  • A simple, no-stress lifestyle

  • Low cost of living

  • Almost perfect weather

  • I can be super productive

Living a laptop life and living an RV lifestyle are both about having the freedom to travel, being able to work on the projects you want to, and living a location-independent lifestyle.

That's what I'm doing, and that's what I'll be writing about. This new version of the website will cover those two topics.

A word of caution about New Year's Resolutions. If you do make any, remember that they're useless if you don't make them specific. Don't say I'm going to lose weight or exercise more. Put a number on it so you can track it. Say, I going to lose 20 pounds in the next 90 days.

Bottom line: I hope you had a great year, and I'm looking forward to bringing you along this coming year on my new adventure of living a location-independent life in Costa Rica, writing books, and living a simple Laptop Life.
