Epic adventure or a total train wreck?
One thing about the RV lifestyle and life, in general, is that a lot of times, things don't go as planned.
But look at it this way, if nothing unexpected happened, there would be no adventure.
We've all been broadsided with unexpected changes lately with the COVID-19. Whether you were RVing, traveling, or doing just about anything else, your world has been turned upside down.
I'm still in Costa Rica. I've been here a little over four months. I'm booked to fly back on July 3rd, but the airlines have changed my schedule two times during the last week, so who knows?
I'm not doing anything much here now, but I wouldn't be going out and doing anything if I were back in the U.S. It's not all bad. My rent and expenses here are about $300 a month less than I would be spending in a campground.
I like to go into a new adventure with an open mind and a sense of humor. If you don't have any expectations, you can't be disappointed. I think that describes me right now.
I guess you could say that the last three months were a train wreck as far as everyone's plans were concerned, but at least, it was not as bad as the train wreck pictured at the top of the page. Some business owners may feel like it has been worse than a train wreck.
Bottom line: Do you feel like you've been on an epic adventure or have the last few months seemed like a train wreck for you?
