Beautiful fall colors here in Costa Rica

I love the beautiful fall colors here in Costa Rica. But it looks just like every other day.

There are no orange, red, or yellow leaves changing colors like there were in the North Carolina mountains in the fall.

We have plenty of colorful flowers here year-round, and a lot of green to go with the colors, but there are no seasons other than the rainy season and the dry season.

The leaves changing color in the fall was the one thing I loved about living in the mountains back in the U.S. I loved hiking to the waterfalls as well.

But I didn't like the snow. I always tried to head my motorhome and my butt toward Florida before any snow came, but about half the time I didn't make it. I would leave by late October, and sometimes that was too late.

It's pretty here this time of year. It's called the green season. That sounds better than calling it the rainy season. It has been raining here almost every day for the last four months, and we have another six weeks of rain to go.

Bright colors in Florida in the fall

When I took my motorhome to Florida every winter, I saw the colors change there also, but it wasn't the leaves changing color. It was the license plate colors that changed as all the snowbirds started showing up.

Bottom line: Wherever you are, I hope you're enjoying the fall colors, even if they're not changing.
