How to prepare for a trip
What is the best way to prepare for a trip?
John Muir, known as the "Father of the National Parks" and founder of the Sierra Club, said the best way to prepare for a trip is to "Throw some tea and bread into an old sack and jump over the back fence."
It sounds like great advice to me, and it looks like that's what the girl in the picture is thinking about doing.
Another good way to prepare for a trip is to lay out all the clothes and money you're going to take. Then, take half as many clothes and twice as much money. For sure, I can agree with taking half as many clothes.
Most people spend too much time planning a trip, and they pack way too much stuff. Consider just going with the flow. Enjoy the adventure and see what happens. You'll have a much more relaxing and enjoyable trip that way.
If you plan every detail of your trip, there won't be any time left for spontaneity.
Have you ever thought about being a digital nomad and living a laptop life in a tropical paradise?
My new book has just gone live on Amazon this week, and it reveals how I do it and how you can do it too.
For the next three days the eBook version of my new book is available on Amazon for 99¢, and the printed version is available for $5.00. There are still a few typos in the book.
I'll be correcting those during the next few days, and then on Tuesday, I'll raise the prices to the regular price of $3.99 and $13.99.
As always, I would really appreciate it if you would invest 99¢ and buy the eBook, and then post a review on Amazon. You can click on the picture of the book in the right Nav panel, and it will take you to the page on Amazon where you can purchase the book.
Reviews from people who have bought the book from Amazon are much more valuable in the Amazon rankings than reviews from people who have not purchased the book.
Bottom line: Maybe it's time for you to jump over the back fence and take a trip. Seriously consider mixing some international travel with your RV travels. It will cost you less than you're spending to stay in RV campgrounds. If you go to Costa Rica, you can take your dog with you, and he won't have to be put in quarantine when you arrive.
P.S. If you don't have time to purchase a copy of the book, just send me an email at Jminchey at gmail.com, before Tuesday, and I'll send you a PDF version of the book at no cost.
