A beach in Costa Rica
I'm back in Costa Rica for six months
I left ten inches of snow and a temperature of -3 degrees in Tennessee and flew to Costa Rica earlier this week.
I'll be here for six months this year. It looks like I left a week too late. I should have left before the snow and super-cold weather arrived in Tennessee.
I stored my motorhome at a friend's farm in Cedar Key, Florida, and drove to Knoxville, Tennessee, and left my car with my son. Then, I boarded a plane to Costa Rica. It's nice and warm here.
I have a book that I will be publishing within the next two weeks, and I have two more books I want to write while I'm here. This is a great place to have uninterrupted time to write.
I will also be revising and updating some of my previously published books, so I'll stay busy while I'm here.
I enjoyed my three months in the North Carolina mountains and three months in Cedar Key, Florida, but I always look forward to my time in Costa Rica.
Living in an RV for a dozen years has spoiled me. I no longer like to live in just one place all the time, regardless of how nice it is.
RVers use the term "hitch itch" to describe the desire to hit the road after being in one place for a long time.
Some RVers tell me that after only a week in one place, they're ready to hitch up and go somewhere. I like to stay a lot longer but always look forward to traveling.
Bottom line: The picture at the top of the page shows the beach in Costa Rica. I'm up in the mountains at 4,500 feet. I'll get down to the beach while I'm here.
