RVing with kids--can it really work?
When kids live and travel in an RV, they become outgoing and develop great personalities.
You can homeschool your kids (or road school them as RVers call it), and in my opinion, they'll get a better education than they would get in the public school system.
Your kids will get to see things that most kids only read about. They'll develop an outgoing personality because they'll be meeting so many people. They'll learn to make new friends quickly. They'll walk up to kids they don't know and ask them if they want to play.
The two best parts about road schooling your kids
#1. Academically, homeschooled students score 15-30% higher on standardized testing than public school students. I would think kids who were homeschooled while living and traveling in an RV would score even higher, but that's just my opinion. I don't know of any study that's tracked these data.
#2. You'll get to spend a lot of time with your kids. Kids grow up fast, and you can't get those years back.
What do teenagers think about traveling around the country and being away from their friends?
Below is a link to an eye-opening and entertaining book, Growing Up RoadSchooled by Kelsey Henry. She describes her life growing up traveling with her parents and living in a motorhome. She also talks about her experience getting into college after not attending a traditional high school.

Why do couples with kids decide to hit the road and live in an RV?
Below is a link to a YouTube video that my friends Nate and Marissa posted on YouTube recently. They've been full-time RVing for seven years. In this video, they not only talk about raising their two kids while living on the road, but they also interview several other RVing families and ask them what they think about raising their kids while living full-time in an RV.

Here's a link to another video on the subject. In this video, Kristin and John from No Ordinary Path do a great job of describing their life RVing with kids and how their kids enjoy the RVing lifestyle and love meeting other kids.

If you want to know even more about the pros and cons of homeschooling kids while RVing, take a look at this article, The Ultimate Guide to Road Schooling, which provides a lot of detailed information about homeschooling.

Bottom line: RVing with kids is more popular now than ever. In every campground I visit, I see a lot of kids. They're well-behaved, happy, polite, and are a joy to be around.
Taking children out of the public school system and letting them experience the world through the eyes of full-time RVing might be one of the best things you could do for them. Do your research, and don't let the fact that you have kids be a reason not to live full-time in an RV.
