I&##x27;ll be honest with you. I would hope so.

I'll be honest with you. I would hope so.

Tell it like it is

Say what you mean.

Whether you're writing a blog post, an article, an email, or talking, there is one phrase you should stop using.

"To be honest," or any variations of this phrase, such as "I'll be honest with you," etc.

When I see the phrase in print or hear someone say that phrase, I want to say, "Does that mean everything else you've told me has been a lie?"

I know it's just a figure of speech, but that's what I think every time I hear the phrase.

Maybe one day I'll wise off and say out loud what I'm thinking.

Many other useless phrases are overused, like "in this day and age," but they don't make me want to comment.

I know your time is valuable, and I've made my point, so I'll stop rambling.

But here is one more. When I hear someone say, "I was thinking in my head," it makes me want to say, "Where do you normally think, in your foot?"

Bottom line: What are some phrases you hear that you wish people would stop using?
