Children don't worry aobut what to write—they just write
What should I write about?
Creating content is not easy.
Whether you have a website, a blog, a YouTube channel, a newsletter, or just send emails to your family and friends, I'm sure you sometimes wonder, "What should I write about?"
Kids love to write, and I've never heard a kid say, "What should I write about?" or "I can't think of anything to say."
They're not trying to inform, entertain, or please anyone. They're just writing.
You may not have that luxury. You have to write content that your readers want to read.
I write mainly about three different topics. Maybe I should settle on one topic, but I write about what I'm doing.
The three topics I write about are:
- Living and traveling in an RV
- How to write and publish books
- Being a digital nomad and international travel
A postage stamp is useless unless it sticks to one thing until the mission is accomplished. I'm not a postage stamp, so I don't stick to one thing.
Bottom line: Write about what you enjoy. Your followers are following you because they're interested in the same things you're interested in, and they want to know what you're doing, what you think, and your ideas and opinions. If they're not, they will unsubscribe.
