You have choices
In life you have choices.
The little boy in the picture has to make a choice. Sometimes there are choices we could make, but we choose to do nothing, but not making a decision is a choice.
A lot of people don't understand this or else they forget it because they live their lives as if they didn't have a choice. Maybe there are a few people who, because of circumstances outside of their control, don't have a choice in some matters, but not many.
Don't live the same year 75 times and call it a life.
~ Robin Sharma.Robin Sharma was an attorney until he was 25 years old. Now he's a #1 Bestselling Author. You don't have to do the same thing all your life. His most popular book is The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari. Could you have written that book? You probably knew as much about that topic as he did when he started writing the book.
As an RVer maybe you have more options than most people. You can travel when you want to, stop when you want to, and you're free to experience more than most people.
But you have even more options. As an RVer, you're free to park your RV (or take it with you) and live in a different country.
I love the RV lifestyle and I can never see myself giving it up, but I also love to travel and experience living in different countries. That's why I've decided to spend six months living in a different country and six months traveling around the US in my motorhome. At least, that's this year and next year's plan. Who knows after that.
We never know what's around the next bend
As the picture below implies, we never know what's around the bend in the road, but that's part of the adventure of life. It's true whether you're talking about life or the actual bend in the road.
Jordan and Kaylee drove their converted bus to Panama, bought a few acres of land, parked their RV on their land, and for now, they're enjoying their life in Panama. You can follow their adventures on their YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSCRVmBT1YyuAlCA8c9FJRA.
Nina and Paul traveled all over the US in their motorhome before they decide to sell their motorhome and move to France. There they bought another motorhome and now travel around France and other parts of Europe. You can follow their adventures on their website at https://wheelingit.us/. Nina writes some very interesting articles about RVing and about life in general and posts them on their website.
I know other RVers who have shipped their RV to another country and then travel around that country. I also know RVers who have gone to other countries and rented an RV for a month or so and traveled around.
Neither of these options is as expensive as you might think when you consider that they don't have to rent a car, and they boondock, so they don't have to pay for a hotel room during their visit.
Probably none of these adventures are what you want to do, but realize that each one of them is doable and probably for less money than you're spending to live now. It's just a matter of you making a decision. How do you want to live the rest of your life?
Bottom line: Stop and consider the direction your life is headed and decide if you want to keep doing the same thing you've been doing or if you want to make a change and do something different. Either choice is fine, but make sure that you don't keep doing the same thing just because you never got around to making a decision. You have choices.
